Our Team

Belt Family Realty is a boutique real estate firm that specializes in both residential and commercial property. Wayne and Barbara and their daughters, Allison Belt and Beth Dempsey have a combined 90 years of experience selling thousands of properties in Middle Tennessee.

In addition to both being real estate brokers, Wayne and Allison are also licensed general contractors, which makes them uniquely suited to assist in the buying and selling process. On the selling side, they can help scope out issues that may show up in a home inspection and address them beforehand. On the buying side, they bring a keen eye to a property and its pros and cons.

Soon after entering the real estate business, Wayne obtained his General Contractor’s license. He then partnered with Dan Decker to form Decker & Belt Company and began developing commercial office parks and townhouse subdivisions. These projects are found throughout the Middle Tennessee area. It is a joy for Wayne to work with his wife and daughters at Belt Family Realty serving his hometown community. 

Barbara Belt (615) 849-5169

With 38 years of experience as a realtor, Barbara most enjoys making lifetime friends and seeing clients find exactly what they want in a home. A member of the Lifetime Million Dollar Sales Club, Barbara’s production numbers are noteworthy. When she’s not helping clients find a home, Barbara loves to travel, read wonderful novels with her book club, and stay active with her church family.

Allison Belt (615) 406-4676

Allison Belt joined the family business in 2014 and since then has become licensed as a Public Adjuster, an sUAS drone pilot, a General Contractor, and a Real Estate Broker. Her favorite part about real estate is the problem-solving that is required from the time the client contacts her to the closing. Buying a house can be complex and nuanced, and she enjoys tackling the challenge and making the process easier for clients.

Beth Belt Dempsey (615) 663-5171

Beth has recently joined her family’s business and believes her years as an educator help tremendously when interacting with clients. Clear communication, adapting to new personalities and situations, and perseverance have translated into effective skills that help clients buy and sell their homes. Beth enjoys giving back to her community through her work with Catalyst and volunteering in the second grade classrooms of her neighborhood school.
